Central Baptist is awarded the KHA Quality Award



Central Baptist was awarded the Kentucky Hospital Association’s highest quality honor, its annual Quality Award.The 2009 Quality Award honors hospital leadership and innovation in quality, safety and commitment in patient care.

Central Baptist was recognized specifically for its Code AMI-STEMI program by achieving a 100 percent success rate of providing intervention in less than 90 minutes to patients with ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI). The less-than-90-minute goal stemmed from guidelines recommended by the American College of Cardiology and the American Heart Association.
